Tap Tour goes aquatic!

The goal of this tour is to check off a long-time Tap Tour stretch goal: the AquaLink! If you're not familiar, the AquaLink is a ferry that connects different parts of Long Beach. We've sandwiched it between spots at Rainbow Harbor and Alamitos Bay.

1. First up is Outback Steakhouse! (Before you roll your eyes, remember the goal of Tap Tour: to visit EVERY bar in the city :P Also, $7 cocktails!)
2. Next is the AquaLink, which serves a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine, and leaves from right behind Outback. We'll take the 6pm ferry, and it should last about 40 minutes.
3. The final scheduled stop is Ballast Point Brewing, which boasts a large beer selection, the fastest mobile ordering system I've ever encountered (no joke, beers came in 45 seconds), a huge space, and an awesome view of Alamitos Bay.
4. Malainey's is also nearby, so we'll keep that in mind as an optional final stop.

Things to know:

• The AquaLink costs $5, and their credit card readers are currently out of order (though that may change before the event), so please bring cash or download the RideLBT app.
• The tour is ending at a different location from the start, so keep that in mind for transportation. The last ferry leaves Alamitos Bay at 7:45pm if you'd like to take it back to Rainbow Harbor.
• Meals are available at Outback and Ballast Point, and the AquaLink serves small snacks.
