Social - chill and introductions

Come join us and hang out, make new friends and talk long hair and other things! Swap stories, advice that worked for you, or whatever. Maybe teach/learn some styling skills for plaits, braids, buns, recommendations for safe soft hairbands (ugh metal crimps, right?!) - anything related to beautiful hair!

Venue is wheelchair accessible (& toilets) and has coffee, cake, vegetarian food and poetry! Haven't booked any space but we should be able to grab a table. Its small enough to make it easy to find people in, but I expect to post exact location once I'm there as event host - look out for a meetup A5-sized sign.

No fee to attend - some groups charge a pound or two to cover meetup.com costs, not me; though donations graciously accepted. Its going to be a very informal casual hang out and chat type event. If you'd like to talk to us about something in particular and give the meet more structure then do get in touch/comment, but otherwise it'll just be like hanging out with new friends in a bar/cafe.

If you'd prefer a different area of London next time, comment and let us know and I'll take it into consideration - particularly happy to go south of the river. Bear in mind the more outside of zone 1, the fewer people will make the effort to travel to it except locals, which might not be many.

What do you all want from the group? Is a bar or a cafe, or something else preferred (suggestions please)? Anyone know of any shows/exhibitions that might be relevant?
