Styling your UIs with TailwindCSS

The TailwindCSS website says it best: Tailwind CSS is a highly customizable, low-level CSS framework that gives you all of the building blocks you need to build bespoke designs without any annoying opinionated styles you have to fight to override.

This month, we will wire up a simple React application with TailwindCSS and build out some UI using several of the utility classes provided by TailwindCSS. We will also cover some more advanced configuration options, such as reducing file size with purgeCSS and creating your own custom CSS by combining existing classes.

If you’d like to follow along, please make sure to have Node/NPM installed beforehand.

Please note that this event will start at 7:00 PM instead of the usual time of 6:00 PM. We are experimenting with various time formats to find a schedule that works best for everyone.
