Web Animation with GreenSock Animation Platform (GSAP) and React

This month we're going to be diving into GSAP - a JavaScript animation library. We'll be going over the basics of the API/working with a simple React project to look at how React and GSAP interact. However, you don't need to know React to understand the basics of GSAP.

To get an idea of what this library is, here's a short description from https://greensock.com:

"Think of GSAP as the Swiss Army Knife of javascript animation...but better. It animates anything JavaScript can touch (CSS properties, canvas library objects, SVG, generic objects, whatever) and it solves countless browser inconsistencies, all with blazing speed (up to 20x faster than jQuery), including automatic GPU-acceleration of transforms."

Food and beverages will not be provided but there are plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. You are also welcome to bring food with you.
LaunchPad is located in downtown Huntington.

There is usually plenty of free parking in the rear parking lot as well as rear access to the building. Look for a glass door with the LaunchPad sign next to the Bon Bons Chocolatier and take the elevator up to the second floor.
