Unfortunately this Makerspace is no longer active. We had to shut down during the Pandemic, and changes at work made re-opening the space the way it had previously been run impossible. I was recently informed that people still post on this page. I am going to keep the page up in case people want to see records of previous meeting or people they may have met, and also because I don't have the heart to delete something that was a great experience while it lasted.

The goal of this group is to create a community of creative, and innovative individuals on Long Island. We offer our members access to the tools and equipment needed to realize their visions. Our goal is to become a place where creative people such as artists, engineers, DIYers, mechanics, hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and students can all come to build parts, prototype designs, learn, teach, and collaborate on various projects. \

We host a monthly open house in a space shared with a plastic fabrication plant. This gives us access to a 3D printer, Laser cutter, CNC milling machines, as well as a wide assortment of additional production equipment. We host a open housed where members will be able to come in use our equipment, work on projects, discuss ideas, and meet some awesome people. \
