By requesting to join this group and/or participating in any event organized by Futbol Island – Long Island Adult Soccer (18+), you certify that you are physically fit, in good health, and able to safely participate in recreational soccer activities.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to physical injury, accidents, or property loss.
You hereby release and hold harmless the organizer, assistant organizers, referees, facility owners, and all members of this group from all claims, demands, or liabilities arising from or related to your participation and/or receipt of instruction.
By joining this group and RSVPing to any event, you acknowledge and agree to this waiver.

# 💳 Payment & Organizer Fee Disclosure

All games require a participation fee. This fee covers:

• Field or facility rental
• Equipment (balls, cones, bibs, etc.)
• Referees (if applicable)
• Meetup platform and organizational costs

# ⚽ VERY IMPORTANT — RSVP & GAME RULES

## On the Field

• No slide tackling
• No aggressive or reckless play
• Respect referees (if applicable), organizers, and fellow players
• Sportsmanship is mandatory

## Cancellations

• You have at least 6 hours before game time to cancel for a FULL REFUND
• The official cutoff time will be posted in the event comments or description

## Reservation Policy

If you reserve a spot and do not cancel before the cutoff time, you are responsible for the full fee for your reserved spot(s).

## Waitlist Policy

If you are on the waitlist, it is your responsibility to check your status.
If you are moved into a playing spot and do not cancel in time, you are responsible for the fee.

## Team Formation Notice

Teams are formed on the field.
Last-minute cancellations and no-shows negatively impact the game and other players.

Some facilities require a separate, physical waiver form to be signed on-site before playing.
If required, you must sign the facility’s waiver before participation.
