About us
"What if aging well was a skill you could actively practice, together?"
Welcome to the Longevity Hamburg Community!
Longevity is often misunderstood. It's not about becoming immortal. Instead, we strive for a long life with a high quality of life, free from age-related limitations. And that's easier when you're not doing it alone.
The Longevity Hamburg Community is on a mission to make longevity accessible, open, and human. We believe that the science of living better shouldn't stay locked in labs — it belongs in the hands of everyday people.
What we do:
- Organize free events where like-minded people connect, share experiences, and learn from each other
- Bridge the gap between experts and the community, bringing cutting-edge longevity science into real, honest conversations
Who is this group for?
- For everyone who wants to sustainably improve their health and well-being.
- For those interested in staying up-to-date on products, habits, and nutrition in the field of longevity.
- For those who want to benefit from the experiences and insights of others.
At our meetups you can expect talks and discussions on nutrition, habits, biohacking, and the latest research — plus genuine peer exchange on what's actually working.
All events are free. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are.
Who's behind this group?
Longevity Hamburg is part of a growing international longevity community with active chapters across Germany, Switzerland and the US. We're always looking for passionate people who want to help shape events, bring ideas, and grow this movement locally.
Come say hi at your first event — we'd love to meet you.

Join Carlotta Bühe for an evening on gut health and longevity in Hamburg. Together with Longevity Cities Hamburg, we'll look at what happens to the gut as we age and what today's science tells us about supporting healthy aging.
What is this about?
Your gut changes throughout life. The diversity of your microbiome (the community of bacteria and other microbes living in your digestive system) often declines with age, while hormonal changes can shape how your gut functions and how you feel. New research suggests these changes are closely connected to long-term health, especially for women during midlife.
In this talk, Carlotta Bühe brings together the latest evidence on the aging gut in a practical and accessible way. You'll leave with a clearer understanding of what the science says today, where the evidence is still evolving and which everyday habits may help support a healthier gut over time.
What can you expect?- Learn how the gut changes with age and why those changes matter for healthy aging.
- Understand the connection between hormones, the microbiome and the estrobolome (a group of gut bacteria involved in estrogen metabolism).
- Discover why women over 40 may benefit particularly from paying attention to gut health.
- Explore what microbiome diversity tells us and why researchers consider it one marker associated with longevity.
- Bring your questions for an open Q&A after the talk.
