Hike: South Island School to Central (via Aberdeen Park)

Description: This hike follows the Lady Clements Ride trail and passes through Aberdeen Reservoir. The path is mostly paved, fairly flat, and largely shaded by trees, making for a comfortable and relaxed start. From the reservoir, we’ll head up toward Wan Chai Gap Park, reaching an elevation of about 241 meters. After that, we’ll descend along Bowen Road and make our way to Central MTR station.
Note: There are 2–3 exit points along the route if you’d like to end the hike
early.
What to bring:
- 2 liters of water
- Snacks to eat a quick snack along the way (sandwich, fruits, nuts, etc)
- Hiking shoes with good support
- Sunglasses
- Headgear (cap/hat)
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- In case of Rain: plan accordingly
Toilets: There are at least 2-3 toilets along the way.
Meeting Point: Central MTR - Exit A. Once everyone arrives, we'll take a taxi to South Island School.
