Longmont Civics Forum - First Thursday Evenings

The Longmont Civics Forum coordinates public meetings, speakers, presentation, and discussions of concern to our city. We steer towards local business issues; good governance; and new knowledge.

Thursday's topic will concern the city's Housing Authority and its difficulties and limited success. The city's propensity to absorb health and human services housing related non-profits, and the possibilities of using open space for affordable housing.
What is affordable?

This will be our kick-off meeting in a new venue, the Parkway Food Hall. The Parkway Food Hall has a wide variety of menus: Asian, Mediterranean, Mexican, and American. There is also a full wet bar.

While there is a nice meeting room with multimedia, for this event we will meet at in the area along the south wall. There is a nook with cocktail tables where will be hanging out.
