Seed & Plant Exchange Event: Longmont
Join us for a casual Free Seed & Plant Exchange! Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting out, this event is the perfect opportunity to swap plants, cuttings, seeds, and gardening tips with fellow enthusiasts. Bring what you can and take home something new for your home or garden! This is an OUTDOOR event, please dress appropriately. If it is bad weather we will reschedule. You may swing through or stay the whole time.

Event Details:

• Date & Time: Sunday, April 6th from 10:30am-12pm
• Location: Flanders Park, Lake McIntosh, 2115 N Shore Dr, Longmont, CO 80503
• Free Event: Open to all plant people, any experience level!
• RSVP: Group's account settings caps the RSVPs at 10 people, but there's no cap for the event.

How it works:

1. Bring Your Seeds & Plants: Bring healthy plants, cuttings, or seeds to share. Please ensure your contributions are free from pests and diseases. Label them with the plant's name at minimum. Optionally any specific care instructions. Does NOT have to be in sealed official seed envelopes from a store. If bringing bulk of same item, you can label one container and the recipient can label their own portion.
2. Containers: Please bring your own clean containers and writing implements to exchange your seeds and plants. If you have many items please consider bringing a folding table, blanket, or cart.
3. Give & Receive: Everyone is welcome, regardless of the number of seeds/plants they bring, however please be respectful of others' offerings. Browse the offerings and take home new seeds or plants to try in your garden. There’s no specific obligation to exchange using an one-to-one ratio; just trade or receive what is mutually agreed upon.

Basic Rules:

• No Sales: This is a free exchange event. NO buying or selling.
• Labeling: Please label your plants and seeds clearly with at least the plant's name. Optional care instructions. Does NOT have to be in sealed official seed envelopes from a store. If bulk, you can label one container and the recipient can label their own.
• Healthy Plants Only: Ensure all plants and seeds are pest-free and disease-free. We want to keep our gardens healthy! It's always good to isolate new plants from your existing collection to assess its health (no matter where you get the plant from!) We are not liable if the plant is not healthy or has pests.
• Containers: Please bring your own clean containers and writing implements to exchange your seeds and plants. If you have many items please consider bringing a folding table, blanket, or cart.
