Join us this summer for a hands-on experience where we make Black Walnut Liqueur ("nocino" as it is traditionally called in Italy) from scratch! This will be our second summer conducting this workshop - we were pleased with last year's results!

Nocino is a digestif typically enjoyed after meals. It has a rich, dark color, complex flavor profile, and deep cultural heritage, often described as bittersweet with hints of spices and citrus - perfect for the holiday season.

Together, we'll harvest young walnuts right here on the farm, prepare the mixture, and bottle our own artisanal nocino. Plus, we'll explore the history behind this beverage.

"From Harvest to Bottle" is a 3-part series taking place over the course of 7 months:

  • Workshop 1 | Harvesting and Preparation | June 21st
  • Workshop 2 | Straining and Sweetening | July 26th
  • Workshop 3 | Bottling and Festive Celebration | December 20th

All ingredients, including bottling materials, are included in the ticket price (1 ticket applies to all 3 workshops). Bring yourself and some lunch for an afternoon picnic on June 21st! In December, each participant will leave with two 8oz bottles of nocino.
