Martin Carletti, Kramp - Exploring Conversational Analytics in a Non-Looker BI Landscape: Lessons from POC
In this session, I will share our experience running a proof of concept with Looker focused on conversational analytics within a mature Tableau environment. Rather than evaluating Looker as a dashboard replacement, we explored how conversational access to data can be introduced to expand our capabilities. The talk will highlight key learnings, practical challenges, and how this experiment shaped our next steps.

About the Speaker
Martin Carletti is an Analytics Transformation Manager at Kramp, responsible for advancing analytics maturity and strengthening business performance through better decision-making. He works at the intersection of business strategy, data, people, and organizational processes, ensuring analytics initiatives translate into measurable impact and sustained performance improvement.

Eelco van Kuik, Onesecondbefore - Beyond the Numbers, The Eye Wants Something Too: How to make visually attractive dashboards in Looker
Looker is unmatched when it comes to data exploration and conversing with your data using AI. But what about its data visualization capabilities? And how can you quickly apply formatting to make your dashboards not just accurate, but visually compelling? Because the data may be right, and the story may be clear, but the eye deserves something too.

Eelco van Kuik will walk you through some of Looker's data visualization features, and hopefully spark some inspiration for your own dashboards. Today's data analysts invest most of their time getting the data right and crafting the right narrative. So in the time that remains: how do you make sure your dashboard doesn't just inform, but also looks the part?

About the Speaker
Eelco van Kuik is a seasoned data analyst and engineer with over 10 years of hands-on experience in Looker. As one of the platform's earliest adopters in the Netherlands, he has witnessed Looker's evolution firsthand and helped organizations of all sizes, from global enterprises to small teams, unlock the full potential of their data.

Koen Segers, YourSurprise - Where’s That Dashboard Again? -Navigating Your Looker Ecosystem with AI
In a mature Looker environment, you want to empower colleagues to build their own dashboards, trusting that your well-governed Explores will keep their data accurate. However, this level of self-service often leads to a new challenge: an increase of content where it becomes nearly impossible to keep track of which dashboards exist and who they’re for. When users ask where to find specific insights, even the experts might lose their overview.

To solve this, we are building a conversational analytics agent integrated with Looker’s API’s. By leveraging the underlying logic of our Explores, the agent acts as an intelligent navigator, either pointing users toward the most relevant existing dashboard or providing direct answers to their questions on the fly. During our talk, we’ll show how we’re turning this ‘dashboard haystack’ back into a streamlined, accessible data experience.

About the Speaker
Koen is a Data Engineer at YourSurprise, where he has spent the last four years building the data infrastructure that supports their personalized gifting platform across Europe. Based in Zeeland, his work focuses on ensuring that data is reliable and accessible for everyone in the organization.

Working within the Google Cloud ecosystem, Koen manages data pipelines using a stack of Airbyte, Dagster, dbt, and BigQuery. While much of his day-to-day involves developing automated data models, he also works on integrating machine learning and deep learning to solve more complex analytical challenges.
Recently, Koen has been focused on making data more accessible through natural language. In his talk, he will discuss the development of an AI Looker Agent using the Conversational Analytics API, demonstrating how they are moving toward a self-service model where colleagues can interact with data through simple, conversational queries.
