The Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail is a popular, moderately easy, paved hike on O'ahu offering stunning views of the coastline, offshore islands, and the historic Makapu'u Lighthouse. It's a great spot for whale watching during the winter months and for observing seabirds, especially from November to May. The trail is mostly exposed to the sun and wind, so it's important to prepare with sunscreen, water, and appropriate footwear.
