Our THIS LIFE event at LOOK.Sharp is designed to present, participate and discuss all aspects of what it means to be a human being on this planet at this time. From self-improvement with our “making it happen” series, to alternative lifestyles in our “alternate relations” series to questioning our accepted narratives with the “zeitgeist film series” screenings already on the calendar. Expect future discussions on sustainability, communities, solutions, theories and more to follow in the coming months.

Tonight Bruno presents his experience with and open perspective on the growing interest in Kink and BDSM as increasingly accepted expressions of consensual adult playfulness. We do not take a position in these personal preferences but create a space where concepts can be presented, questioned and understood.

Non-conventional sexual behaviours can be exhilarating, bring people closer, (re-)ignite passions, even build communities. Join us for a smart and sexy discussion on the landscape of kink, practices to make kink both safe and enjoyable topped off with a deep dive into the world of BDSM. Kink and BDSM, what are they and what do they mean? What is the difference between them? When does something become a fetish and does this status depend on the psychology of a given society at a given time? Do power expressions in sexual play conflict with ideas of equality? When does it cross the line?

We’ll explore these questions and more including deeper questions on consent, psychological vulnerability, social impact and more.
