Our THIS LIFE events at LOOK.Sharp are designed to present, participate and discuss all aspects of what it means to be a human being on this planet at this time. From self-improvement with our “making it happen” series, to alternative lifestyles or perspectives in our “alternate relations” series where questioning our accepted narratives it part of the group participation. Expect future discussions on sustainability, communities, solutions, theories and more to follow in the coming months.
Tonight Dr. Santo presents his PHD Thesis study in club culture and its impact and reflection of contemporary culture. How has the role of the DJ and dance venues changed the way in which we interact? How does it express and activate change in the broader community and society? How have drugs and the sounds birthed from them unknowingly shifted even the most conservative parts of our cultures?
