Adults only. Learn to knit and crochet, or bring your ongoing needlework to continue during our weekly, drop-in, free funshops.
Our knitting/crocheting coach is an expert, and familiar with styles of knitting here and abroad. For each session she wears another of her fabulous creations as inspiration. Recently she explained the best way to unravel knitwear purchased in thrift shops that knitters can use anew for projects of their own design.
For beginning embroiderers we have put together precut felt, free-form embroidery kits that don't require an embroidery hoop. (One free felt kit per participant per session.) We are always developing new felt project kits. For late Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 we are thinking of the gift-giving holidays just around the corner, so offer kits you can make for yourself or to give as gifts. Designs include oversize drink coasters (Sparkly Snowflakes, Red Wing Blackbird, Holiday Wreath), and Eyeglass cases (Polar Bear, Poppy, Daisy, Dachsund, Kitten, Winter Pansy.) See photos.
