Third Thursday Los Alamos Bookclub

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT
This month we will be reading The Wise Ass by Tom McCaffrey.
This book is the first book in the Claire saga series. It's a blend of thriller, fantasy, and humor. Following a New York City mob lawyer who enters witness protection after testifying against his associates. He ends up in a small town in Colorado, where he befriends a colorful cast of characters, including a loquacious mule, and must face the mafias wrath.
This book was suggested when Anna expressed hopes for a light-hearted book to read next month, so hopefully it will be a lot of fun.
As always, come even if you haven't read the book, but please be prepared to talk about whatever you are reading because we are always looking for new material.

• Time: 6:00PM-9:00 PM

• Location: Address will be provided after sign-up. If you don't see a direct message a week or so before the event with the address, it's because sometimes the meet up site won't let us contact people. Please feel free to give Anna a call at Boomerang (505-662-1479) for the address.

• Please bring your own beverage of choice.
• We usually have pizza, salad, and a contribution jar to help cover the cost of the pizza. Byob!
• Participants are welcome to bring food to share but it is not required.

If you are interested in being a member, come even if you haven’t read the book.
