Book Description:
Loon Point is Carrie Classon's debut novel, a heartwarming story about an unlikely "found family" that forms at a remote Minnesota resort during a spring blizzard, featuring characters like the solitary owner Norry, a resilient young girl named Lizzie, a cantankerous old man Wendell, and a helpful handyman Bud, who find healing and connection while navigating personal hardships like addiction and loneliness. The book explores themes of chosen family, second chances, and the quiet power of community, set against the backdrop of the Northwoods.
