What is your Brand?/How Social Media can be a tool for Actors/Headshots/reels

Hi Actors,

We are excited to connect with you. We are aiming to create an online Meetup (initially) and work towards an in person meet up. Ideally this would be suited for people starting out in the industry, new to LA or wanting to revamp their career.

At the online Meetup we will learn how to identify your 'current' realistic type for both commercial and theatrical, your real age range & character strengths, in order to attract more casting calls and/or a new agent.

We will hone in on your brand 'YOU' and delve into understanding the importance of how to be crystal clear about who you are as an actor, in order to capture this with your headshot (and eventually your showreel).

We will focus on how social media can be utilized for actors to target your audience and best attract the right kind of followers to promote your career.
You will then individually have the chance to book ( if you are based in LA) to have a headshot shoot directed by a professional UCLA trained headshot photographer (1-2 looks only). Attendees are the only ones offered exclusive discounts if they want to take advantage.

This meetup is limited to 15 people so that actors will benefit from being in a smaller discussion group. We are starting the concept virtually as we initially didn't have the numbers to justify hiring a space so we thought we could widen the net of people that may like the information by providing an online meetup.

Have your current headshot on hand to share with us, and a pen/paper for notes as we talk through social media tips and info for the business of acting.
