We went here in March for their Saturday Happy Hour. The Happy Hour food is amazing.
Delicious, large portions, and very reasonable.
Some of the food is spicy as they use the famous Hatch, New Mexico chile peppers.
Panxa can make some dishes mild if you request that. Be prepared for some heat though.

The Happy Hour menu is posted in the photo section on this event page, between "attendees" and "comments."
The chef is from New Mexico. Their license plate says "land of enchantment." It's true.
Locally sourced food and a wonderful selection of tequila.
I am a sucker for pozole and fry bread/Navajo tacos.
You may order from the Happy Hour menu or off their regular Dinner menu.
$9 Happy Hour:
frito pie - I had this in March. It was delicious. Like a Southwestern salad with frito corn chips
ceviche tostada,
chicken chimichanga- ate this in March. Tasty with big chunks of white meat chicken
short rib taquitos,
elote tempura balls- yummy, made of corn
PLUS 4 different, intriguing street tacos. Most are $4.
The $4 beef short rib tacos have meat soft as butter and delicious.
If the weather is nice, we will be sitting in their outdoor patio area.
On their dessert menu is a wonderful tres leches cake with Coconut that is so delicious you will inhale it in seconds. The coconut elevates the cake to the amazing level.
Cash only as we will have 1 check for the table and they may allow 2.
No credit cards.
No separate checks.
Cash in small bills which means only one $20/larger bill.

In case you order off the inviting regular Dinner menu, please bring enough cash.
An estimate is $30 to $40 plus beverages for their Happy Hour. To be safe, please bring $50 in cash as it is better to have too much than too little.

At least 48 hours advance notice if you must cancel.
Please please please be on time or early. Allow enough time for traffic accidents, getting lost, finding parking, and maybe having to walk a few blocks. They have a small lot. Street parking is free and easy.
I am excited as I love Southwestern cuisine, which is almost impossible to find in Los Angeles.
I may want to share some dishes from their dinner menu.
You may order individually if you wish or choose to dine family style with others who are so inclined.
We will be seated indoors in the bar area. If the weather is pleasant, we will be outdoors on their patio.
Come dine with us!
