A small, family & women-owned restaurant. I have been going in large groups at least 5 times over the past 6 years. This Venice location has a better chef and better food than their National Blvd WLA location.

Lincoln Blvd is PCH & the restaurant is really close to the 10, 405, 105.

Simpang Asia is primarily Indonesian with fusion incorporating:
Malaysian,
Singaporean,
Indian, and
Chinese influences.
Halal.

NOT suggested if you have vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or other food restrictions. Sorry.

We are dining FAMILY STYLE
meaning we will share all the food no matter how little or how much you eat. But you should be mindful that each dish is small with portions for everybody so don't take more than your share please. It is awkward when I have to call people on this faux pas.

satay (commonplace Asian dish but I will reluctantly order it)

Maya has gone up in her prices in the past 6 years, especially after Covid. I hosted dining here outside during Covid.

Extra for beverages. They sell beer and wine.

Small bills to make settling the bill easiest. No more than one $20/larger bill please.

NO credit cards, NO separate checks. No paypal nor venmo nor zelle with Daniel to settle the bill.

If you must cancel, at least 48 hours notice is requested so foodies on the wait list can make arrangements. 72 hours is better.
