April 29 -- Massive Renegade Bake Sale!

Come One! Come All!

The LABB's Renegade Bake Sale will feature all sorts of homemade foods to benefit - what else? - the California Homemade Food Act! http://www.theselc.org/cottage-food-laws/

We'd like as many LABB members to participate by baking their best breads and other goodies to sell to the public on the 29th. We'll have the wood-fired oven going all day, so please feel free to bring your unbaked loaves and bake them on site. We especially welcome gluten-free breads and unusual breads. There'll be plenty of samples to share!

We believe some Master Food Preservers and some Bee Keepers will also be donating their homemade wares.

In addition to the Bake Sale, recording stars Fur Dixon and Steve Werner http://www.furandsteve.com (http://www.furandsteve.com/) and Triple Chicken Foot http://triplechickenfoot.com/ will be providing plenty of musical entertainment all afternoon. There will be short but impassioned speeches. A raffle!! And lots of stuff we have yet to figure out.

We need LABB members to help out in several ways:

1. Volunteering to help organize and on the day of the event

2. Baking bread and other wonderful things at home to sell for the cause

3. Inviting everyone they know to come and buy some great homemade food

We're still working on this, so there will be regular updates and revisions to this preliminary plan.
