"Is the Universe Established on the Opposing Energies of Yin and Yang?"

December's study will be conducted by Bro. Amanda Bush as he asks the question, "Is the Universe Established on the Opposing Energies of Yin and Yang?"

Synopsis:
In many spiritual conceptions of the Universe, matter is emanated from one point or thought into two opposing energies. From the two opposing energies is begat matter. Consider the cosmologies of the I Ching, Daoism, Hermeticism, Gnosticism, the Qabalah and the Book of
Genesis. A Masonic Lodge being a representation of the Universe, is also a Universal cosmology, driven by the principle of duality. Today’s discussion will consider the role that opposing energies play in the origin stories of those cosmologies.
