Hannukah is one of the newest Jewish holidays dating to the 2nd century BCE.
Traditional foods included:
- Potato or vegetable Pancakes/ Latkes (fried things are common)
- Beef brisket.
- Roasted chicken.
- Noodle kugel/ noodle pudding.
- Matzo ball soup.
- Challah.
- Rugelach.
- Sufganiyot (Jelly-Filled fried Doughnuts) or Bunelos
