This group is a peer to peer support group with the purpose of supporting each other during emotionally distressing times. By connecting with others who are also feeling the effects of depression, we hope to create a space where we can share our experiences and hopefully feel less alone.
Format will include:
- Talk about our daily lives (only voluntarily)
- Talk about support they need
- Spend time journaling what we've learned or our free thoughts and sharing with each other (this will be also done voluntarily). Depending on a group's consensus, we will write a letter to each other providing emotional support.
Anyone of any age group and any life situation should feel free to join. We would like to make this group as inclusive as possible.
