Ebike San Dimas - Bonelli Park Pavement Loop 18 mile

Details

Join us on this 2 hour E-bike meetup hosted by me and MAGLab, a community workshop aka makerspace. Meetups typically involve a quick intro, a leisure e-bike ride, and breaks for social/photo opportunities.

Typical speeds are 20 MPH on roads & bike lanes. 10-15 MPH on park paths and hill climbs.

Route
We'll be meeting up and riding out in front of MAGLab. We'll go around the fields of Cal Poly Pomona, then go up to Bonelli Park via S. Campus Dr. and Fairplex Dr. We'll then cruise around the whole lake along the shoreline roads and paths. Lastly, we'll swing by the airport (sometimes there are planes taking off), head back down Fairplex, ride along the protected bike lane along Valley Blvd, and finish back at MAGLab well before sunset.

You can check out this ride's route in detail on the RideWithGps map.
This is a no-drop ride.

Arrival
Ride-out is 10 minutes after meetup time. The shop will be open for about half an hour beforehand so feel free to arrive early. We have bathrooms, water, tools, and power outlets for charging.

The location for "MAG Laboratory" on Google Maps is actual. There is ample parking around the concrete island in the industrial park. For more details, see Getting to MagLab.

Please wear closed toe shoes. Bring water (At least 12oz), helmet and protection gear, and spares for your bike.

Bonus
After the ride, you can stick around for MagLab's open house party at 6 PM, tour the space, and meet with fellow Ebike, personal electric vehicle (PEV), and DIY enthusiasts. As a well-equipped community workshop, we give you the capability to tune up, fix, mod, or customize your bike, or almost anything else!
