“ Friday the 13th, catching the sun set hike”.
Join us for another great adventure. Summer makes me happy! 2025 has only one Friday the 13th We will head to Tom LaBONGE Panorama. (AKA) mount Hollywood Summit. Where we will have once a year opportunity to say So long for the day to the Sun and embrace the beauty of the Sunset of the Golden California. And enjoy the late evening views of the most beautiful city in the World. “Los Angeles”. We will have a clear day. We would see the Pacific Ocean Coastline, the Observatory, and much more. Be proud of being an Angelino and join me. This is beginner friendly hike. And I welcome everyone. The hike is about 5.5 miles. The Sun is setting about 8:15 pm We will be meeting at 6:30 pm to have enough time to hike and get in time to watch the Sun set. Bring a friend, your special one, and share with them this Funtastic hike. The daily routine can overwhelm us. Trapped in congested traffic? Feeling lonely? Or stressed? Nature is cheaper than therapy. Los Angeles Metropolitan area is rated at 44.8 % of people experiencing loneliness. Increasing risk of health like depression. LEVEL: this is an easy hike. However it requires the participants to be able to hike at least 5 miles. GAIN is about 1,000 feet of elevation.
LENGTH: the hike is approximate 5.5 miles.
BRING: feel free to wear what makes you feel free and comfortable. Trail runners, hiking shoes recommended, bring your hiking poles, flash light if you have one, and be prepared to have lots and lots of fun
MEETUP SPOT: We will be meeting at merry go Round lot 2 AKA upper lot. please follow the google maps link it will take you to the right place.
RESTROOMS : sure! there are public restrooms for everyone. .

By joining this event each member accepts full responsibility for knowing their limits, for all injuries, health issues, material losses, assessing all risks and for getting lost.
