HIKING: Tigertail Trail Intermediate [MANY INCLINES]

Afternoon/Evening hike about 4.5 miles round trip with about 1375 feet elevation gain overlooking Los Angeles and the Westside.

This is an advanced steep hike and not for hiking beginners/novices. We will be power-walking uphill and downhill for the entire duration of the hike. Group participants able and willing to accelerate further should feel free to do so.

Disclaimer (1): This meetup group will move at a very quick pace. There are very few, if any, other groups matching out pace. This meetup group will be intense. You should join for the mental, spiritual, and (potential) physical challenge provided here. (This hike is a 5/5 difficulty level compared to a non-trail-running weekday Griffith Park hike)

Elevation Gain: 1375 Feet
The hiking trail is hilly and maintains uphill and downhill throughout the entire out-and-back hike.
Time Required: Plan for 1 Hour 30 Minutes on the Trail

Must Bring: Water, Trail-Ready Footwear
Recommend Items: Light, Map/Gpx, Walking Poles, Energy Bar, [Winter: Gloves, Warm Layer], [Summer: Sunscreen, Hat, Glasses]

Evacuations: serious injuries will result in the group immediately returning to the nearest trail exit
