LAX/Metro Station is Open! Lets check it out with a 5 mile walk +CONRAC +APM

The LAX/Metro station is open!
You can now take the metro to (near) the airport. In January 2026 the LAX people mover will open and will conect to the terminals from the metro station. In the mean time, the last two miles will be by shuttle bus.

No we will not ride the metro train, sorry. We walk 5 miles staring at the new LAX Consolidated Rent a Car Facility (CONRAC). Then walk through the new $1 Billion LAX/ metro station. Then do a partial walk of the LAX people mover route (Jan 2026 openng) .

Park on S. Glasgow Ave. as close to W. Arbor Vitae St as possible.
Free street parking.
Note that we stay in non-restricted public areas, no limited access construction sites.

The LAX Consolidated Rent-A-Car Facility (or ConRAC) is an under-construction consolidated rental car facility for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The first companies began operating out of the facility in October 2024. When it is fully operational in 2025, it will consolidate rental car operations currently spread across the surrounding area of LAX into one location adjacent to the 405 freeway. The new facility is expected to store up to 21,000 rental vehicles.
