Urban Hike: Silver Lake

Join Abundant Housing LA and our Abundant Housing Sunset chapter for Urban Hike: Silver Lake this Saturday, June 21!

We’ll walk together through one of LA’s most iconic neighborhoods — learning about housing, history, and urban design along the way. This hike will be led by Scott Epstein, AHLA’s Director of Policy and Research, who will guide us through the past, present, and future of housing in Silver Lake.

🔹 Please note: This hike will be more rigorous than past ones — expect a few staircases and hilly stretches due to Silver Lake’s geography. Wear comfy shoes, bring water, and take your time — we’ll move at a community pace.

After the hike, we’ll gather at Cafecito Organico Silver Lake, where AHLA will cover a round of drinks and light bites for attendees. If the hike’s not right for you, you’re still welcome to meet us there!
