Welcome to the Los Angeles Local Actors Act & Sip Meetup! This group is for both aspiring and experienced actors in the LA area who are looking to network, practice their craft, and have a great time while doing it. Whether you're interested in improv, scene study, monologues, or just meeting other like-minded individuals, this is the place for you. We'll also be exploring some of the best spots in the city to enjoy a drink or two after our sessions. Come join us for a fun, supportive, and creative community of fellow actors. Act & Sip is a relaxed, creative evening for actors to connect, perform, and build community.
Agenda:
• Welcome + Check in + Performance order + Ice Breaker
• Perform (2-3 minutes each, supportive feedback, then perform again)
• Announcements
• Networking + social time
Whether you want to perform or just observe and connect, you’re welcome.
What to Bring:
• A positive attitude
• A short monologue or scene (optional)
• Your business cards or Instagram handle if you'd like to network
Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
How to Find Us:
We’ll be inside Thymele Arts Theatre at 5481 Santa Monica Blvd. Staff will direct you to the room, and signage will say “Act & Sip.” Doors open 15 minutes before start time.
Come ready to create, connect, and have a great time in a supportive environment.
