Oceanic Global LA Hub Cleanup: Playa Del Rey Beach

Join the Ocean Global LA Hub for a Beach Cleanup on Saturday 24th June 2023 at Toes Beach in Playa del Rey from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PST!
This free event is to help preserve our beautiful beaches and blue planet and is an opportunity to meet our local LA Hub community! This is our second year dedicated to keeping Toes Beach in Playa del Rey clean and waste-free.

Meeting Point: Hub team and volunteers to meet at the lifeguard tower at the end of Culver Blvd.
Access: There is convenient parking along Pacific Ave., Culver Blvd., and Convoy St. near the basketball court. The cleanup location is accessible via the boardwalk.

What to Pack: Volunteers will be provided with clean-up supplies, including gloves and bags. We recommend closed-toe shoes and to bring your own beach towel and reusable water bottle. If you'd like, feel free to bring your own gardening gloves and reusable bags! Come dressed comfortably in athletic apparel for the clean-up and wellness activity.

Wellness Activity: Join us for a rejuvenating yoga class designed specifically for volunteers before our beach clean up. This slow, mindful flow is suitable for all levels, including beginners. No prior experience necessary. Let's cultivate inner calm and mindfulness together before we make a positive impact on our beach!

Meet your Yoga Instructor: Vanessa Rezende is an LA-based yoga instructor, certified hypnotherapist and sound healer. vanessarezende.com
