Griffith Observatory Golden Hour Workshop

Meet at the Griffith Observatory to shoot at golden hour and observe the way the light changes over the city and this outstanding monument.
A fee of $45 towards the instructor is required
Please bring DSLR, tripod, good walking shoes, warm coat

Agenda

• 3.00 pm meet on the lawn in front of the observatory and discuss the class, breakdown time stamps etc
• 3.00-3.15 pm introductory walk through of architectural photography, scenic parts of the observatory
• 3.15-4 pm shoot, incorporating landscape techniques
• 4.00-4.10 pm show and share imagery to receive critique and feedback
• 4.10-4.25 pm shoot again, ideally in groups, this time with the intent to create a story of the surroundings
• 4.25-4.45 pm shoot imagery that is off the beaten pathway of the observatory, there are trails, people, artistic self portraits that could be taken
• 4.50-5.00 pm summary and plans for what is next
