About us

Catalina trips. Shore dives. Cleanups.

Kelp Forest Club is a small community of divers in the Los Angeles area who get together to explore the waters along the Southern California coast, from Catalina to local shore dives.

The idea is simple: dive well, take care of the ocean, and spend time with good people who enjoy being out there.

Most months we keep a rhythm:

  • First weekend of the month: Catalina dive day.
  • Last weekend of the month: A coastal mission somewhere along the mainland.

In between, use the group to find dive buddies, share conditions, or organize spontaneous dives.

After dives we usually decompress together — hydrate, trade stories, and figure out where the next mission should be.

Whatever we’re up to, the recipe stays the same.

Cold water. Good company. Proper hydration.
