Screening THE WHITE HOUSE EFFECT + Q&A with producer Josh Penn

We'll be screening THE WHITE HOUSE EFFECT, followed by a Q&A with Academy Award nominated producer Josh Penn!

As always, this is a free event open to the whole community. It is also part of our fundraising campaign to SAVE LA POVERTY DEPARTMENT.
The Los Angeles Poverty Department, a cornerstone of the Skid Row community since 1985, is facing a massive funding loss that threatens its vital arts programs and space in downtown LA. We need to raise $150,000 to sustain our programming in the current environment of federal funding cuts and their changed priorities.

This is a special fundraiser in our Movie Nights at the Museum screening series. Movie Nights at the Museum are screenings of meaningful films for the Skid Row community at no cost, followed by discussions and visits with a filmmaker. All are welcome, and we are hoping many community members come out to support us for this special event.
