Consolations to Marcia (Pt. 2) (Seneca RG)

Details
The “Seneca Reading Group” meets every SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of the month at 7:00-8:00 p.m. PT. The group is currently going through the Chicago University Press collection of Seneca’s work titled Hardship and Happiness (2014). Our primary goal will be to understand what Seneca is saying, critique it, and explore the implications it has for our personal practice.
The upcoming meeting will center around Consolations to Marcia translated by Harry M. Hine. Please do as much reading as you can in advance of the meeting in order to get the most out of the discussion. Lastly, let Justin know if you need a PDF of the reading.
