Hey WordPress Fans!

Welcome to Session #1!

I'm starting at "the very beginning" of our classes, with expanded & updated information!

If you are totally new to WordPress, or just need a refresher, make sure to RSVP now to attend this session.

NOTE: I'll be presenting the topics "in sequential order" starting with this session, and continuing on for the next 5 meetings!

Every session has been expanded to include NEW -- and highly-requested --information (based on our last member poll), so check the announcements as each meeting topic is posted!

Location:

IndieDesk is now located in the financial district of downtown LA. It's easy to access from any of the freeways. The Wells Fargo Center is between Grand and Hope streets.

Parking:

Parking in the Wells Fargo Center is VERY expensive! There is a Joe's Parking lot at Hill and 4th streets just a couple of blocks away. Rates vary, but they are usually between $5 - $8 for the afternoon...

I highly recommend you either take the Metro or other public transportation, or arrange to carpool with a fellow student.

IndieDesk Access:

There is security in and around the buildings. You must check in with the security desk right inside the Lobby. Your name will be on a list from the RSVP, so please do not RSVP for anyone else! We must have their name... If you want to bring a friend, that's fine, but make sure to have them join the group and take care of their own RSVP.

You MUST have picture ID at the time you check in with Security. They will escort you to the appropriate elevator, and provide you with elevator access. IndieDesk is on the 4th floor. When you exit the elevator take the long hallway all the way to the end.

Because of security procedures, RSVPs will be closed at noon the day before the class.
