This group provides a dedicated resource for those who experience compassion fatigue or burnout in their working lives. If you spend your days giving to others, this is your space to replenish. We use meditation as a tool for resilience, moving from the exhaustion of "doing" into the restoration of "being."
Meet Your Guide
Lauren Brown began meditating at age 17 with TM for Teens. She has spent the intervening 47 years studying various meditation practices from around the world and brings this global wisdom to our sessions to help bridge the gap between ancient stillness and modern professional demands.

Our 60-Minute Flow

  • 00–10m | The Check-In: We begin with a short check-in around the circle. Each person introduces themselves and says a few words about how they are arriving.
  • 10–35m | The Practice: A 25-minute meditation guided by Lauren, drawing from diverse traditions to soothe the nervous system.
  • 35–55m | Spontaneous Sharing: The floor opens for an exploration of the joys, difficulties, and insights experienced in practice and the ways to bring mindfulness alive in relationships, work, and daily life.
  • 55–60m | Closing: A brief final grounding to carry this peace back into your world.

Guidelines for the Circle
To protect the restorative nature of our time together, we observe these heart-centered practices:

  • Speak from Direct Experience: Speak about what’s alive for you in this moment, from your heart. Refrain from intellectual/philosophical discussion or long storytelling.
  • Be Lean of Expression: Being concise helps everyone be heard. If you’ve already spoken, give others a spacious opportunity to share a first time before you share again.
  • Listen Deeply: Notice what arises within you as you listen—and what arises as you speak.
  • Honor the Silence: Members should feel free to share at any time, but are never obligated to do so. We refrain from offering unsolicited advice.
  • Honor the Space: Please silence all devices to preserve our collective stillness.
