Plan to invest passively? Here's what to look for

This time we will talk about the passive investor side of a syndicated multi-family transaction. We spoke about the passive investor's side a few years ago, but since then our group doubled in size, so we feel it is a good time to talk about this again.

There are many deals out there. How do you know if a certain deal is a good one? How do you know if you can trust the sponsoring group? Are you confident you understand fully the nuances of the expected returns? The structure of the fees? This is not as trivial as it may seem, and there are quite a few factors to consider and pitfalls to be aware of.
