LACMA Museums Free Day Redux

Tickets: This is a free day admission for LA County residents only. Can't do the ticketing online, . . . you need to go to the boxoffice and show ID. LA County is huge. And chances are you live in it. IF you are recent, all you need it any mail with you name and local address (Utility bill is best) and your other photo ID. Soooooo . . . as you arrive go to either boxoffice and take care of that. The Boxoffice up the steps at Spaulding and Wilshire is ALWAYS less busy.
HOWEVER, . . . . If you make it over to us at the Lamp-posts and do not have your tix yet . . . . I can collect a bunch of licences and go over to services and get a stack of tix to match the number of ID's
We will our tour 6 to 8. Sooooooooo be there BEFORE. It takes time to park and walk and tix. Plan ahead.
After, for those inclined, . . we will walk down to Tom Bergin's for mingle and socialize. Drinks and apps for those that wish.
PARKING
$12 Petersen Museum (access on Orange Grove Ave south of Wilshire Blvd)
$12 Page Museum (access on Curson and 6th)$14 LACMA main parking is located on Sixth Street, just east of Fairfax Avenue
$14 LACMA lot at Wilshire Boulevard at Spaulding Avenue.
$14 Museum Square (access on Curson Ave north of Wilshire Blvd)
Metered street parking. Read all signs for parking restrictions.
The best bet is The Peterson. As it is then just steps away from Tom Bergin'sIf doing Page: Come at it from 6th and not via Wilshire.Going E/W on Wilshire is gonna get you in trouble. So skip that lot.
Or, . . . Park on Olympic and just walk up. (ewwwwww walking!!!) (c'mon, . . .you can do it!!)
