[FREE] MOCA presents Berhana

MOCA presents Berhana, Rayana Jay, Linafornia, and Modern Funk Fest DJs at the Geffin Contemporary. Berhana's sound has been described as "a sort of downtempo, hip hop kind of music." Before the concert we'll take a docent-led guided tour of the exhibitions at 6:30. Alongside the performances will be food trucks, drinks, and regular museum programming. Free admission (regularly $15). It's Ok to come by yourself, you won't be by yourself for long.℠

The city's premier showcase for post-war art, MOCA started life in a humongous bus barn on the edge of Little Tokyo. That's now the Geffen Contemporary—its spacious, raw interior designed by Frank Gehry in the 1980s—considered by some to be one of his gutsiest spaces. Highlights of the museum include Rauschenberg, Rothko, Twombly, Mondrian and Pollock.
