There's something magical about watching a movie under the stars -- and thanks to our enviable weather in LA, we can watch our favorite flicks outdoors spring, summer, and fall. Join us for Disney's "THE LION KING," the studio's most popular animated film of all time. "The Lion King" presents the story of a lion cub's journey to adulthood and acceptance of his royal destiny. Borrowing elements from Hamlet, classical mythology, and African folk tales, "The Lion King" tells its mythic coming-of-age tale with a combination of spectacular visuals and lively music. Before the screening we will have a lovely Picnic Potluck Meet & Greet, followed by a performance by Reckless. Hailed as one of the top classic rock bands in Los Angeles by CBS, the five piece band will captivate you with covers 70s, 80s, and 90s. It's Ok to come by yourself, you won't be by yourself for long.℠

The best part of attending a movie & concert in the park is the picnic. This is where you'll make new friends and say "Hi" to old ones. A great way to meet someone is to offer them something! So... bring something to share! Either some cold drinks or some finger eats such as charcuterie, salumi, cheeses, fresh produce such as grapes, dried fruits such as dates or nuts, olives, bread--foods that are easy to eat without utensils.
