A rewarding coastal hike along the stunning coast of Kent

why don't you join us on this scenic hike along the iconic coastline of Kent and enjoy some amazing views of the famous cliffs of Dover with us?

Starting from Dover, we will follow the coastline until we reach the town of Deal. During our hike, we will see some historical sites and enjoy the seaside, with a visual backdrop of the white cliffs and the lighthouse of Dover. We will also have time to enjoy some drinks before heading back to London :)

This hike is considered a moderately challenging route, and a good level of fitness is required.

Distance: 10 miles approx. (16,4 km).
Difficulty: MODERATE
Ascent: 366m

TRANSPORT
We'll meet at London St Pancras International Station at 8:30 am (in front of Starbucks) to buy our train tickets (please, be on time as we will not be able to wait for you!). If you prefer, you can meet us at Dover Priory station at 10:20 am, where we will start our hike.

The train ticket is not included in the price; however, there will be a discount if we buy a group ticket. If you have a travel card, you are welcome to buy train tickets yourself. If you are not travelling from London, we can meet at 10:20 at Dover Priory Station; if you choose this last option, please, send us a PM.

FOOD
Feel free to bring packed lunch and snacks to have during the hike.

We'll have a social lunch-supper/drinks after we finish our hike, so you are free to join us 😉

SAFETY
Experienced first-aider hikers lead this hike. Insurance included.

BOOKING
Payment of £ 12 via PayPal on RSVP is required to confirm your participation. The price includes the hike guided by experienced hike leaders, admin and Meetup fees + a first aid kit. The price does not include the train tickets.
