A picturesque and challenging hike through the Sussex countryside.
You should visit the impressive Ouse Valley Viaduct and the reservoir at least once in your life!
Join us on this beautiful hike with lovely views along the way! Remember to bring your camera (and smiles) to catch the amazing views and funny moments for life!
We will have some good green ascends and lovely places for a picnic.
Once we finish our hike, we will explore Balcombe and have a delicious Sunday roast at The Half Moon Inn.
Feel free to bring your paws with you. This hike is dog friendly as it is the pub :)

Distance: 7.9 miles (12.71km).
Ascent: 353 m
Difficulty: Moderate.
Route: Circular
TRANSPORT
We'll meet at Balcombe station at 10.30 am (main entrance). You can travel from several train stations (in London). Please, be on time.
FOOD
We'll stop for a snack lunch halfway through the hike. Please bring a packed lunch/snacks with you.
We'll have a Sunday Roast at The Half Moon Inn (optional). Price is not included.
SAFETY
Experienced first-aider hikers lead this hike.
BOOKING
Payment of £12 via PayPal on RSVP is required to confirm participation. The price doesn't include transport or meals.

WHAT TO BRING
- Suitable hiking shoes with ankle support or good trainers
- Waterproof and windproof jacket
- Gloves/hat/cap
- Packed lunch
- Water (min 1L)
- Walking poles (optional)
- Gaiters (optional)
If you bring your little friend, be aware that you will be responsible for the dog; you will need to lease them during the hike, and you need to bring water and food for your paw.
