Lost The Plot, Pune's only rooftop cinema is proud to launch its collaboration with Film Companion, a YouTube channel dedicated to creating quality film content through reviews, video essays, interviews and festival coverage. Hosted by acclaimed film critique, Anupama Chopra, Film Companion is one destination created by film lovers for film lovers. With an extensive career as an author, film journalist and the creative director of MAMI, Anupama Chopra has made a tremendous mark as a film investor. They are excited to have her on board as a guest curator for Lost The Plot where every month she will pick and discuss one film that has touched a chord and is essential viewing for lovers of cinema.
The first film selected by Anupama Chopra is American Graffiti. Set in the early 60s, this American Classic features the coming of age of 4 teenagers as they spend their last summer night together before heading off to college. Directed by George Lucas and produced by Francis Ford Coppola, the film stars Harrison Ford, Richard Dreyfuss, Ron Howard, Suzanne Somers, Cindy Williams, Wolfman Jack and Mackenzie Phillips. High on nostalgia and innocence, the film is a funny and bittersweet reflection of a by-gone decade.
