Hi all, do not miss this walk! Please join everyone for a stunning 3 mile beautiful walk (a couple of small hills on walk). There is a delightful lost village in Walthamstow. Some amazing highlights on the walk include the oldest house in the whole of London, an amazing lit-up indoor neon lights junkyard which neon lights have actually been used in Hollywood films such as Batman, Superman, Mission Impossible, James Bond, Eyes Wide Shut, Charley and the Chocolate Factory!

See the delightful William Morris Gallery and gorgeous gardens, the inventor of the modern bicycle, amazing murals, an old workhouse, prison and the first engine petrol car in the UK.

We will be stopping about 20 minutes in each venue, at the gallery and gardens, Neon Junkyard and old workhouse.

WHERE TO MEET
At top of the underground escalator, turn left for 'Selbourne Road'. When you arrive at the top of the stairs turn right. Then turn right immediately again towards the main road where the Tesco Express is. Once at the main road turn left for Tesco Express. The Goose pub is next door to the Tesco Express. Please meet inside the Goose Pub, 264 Hoe Street, London E17 3AX. (pub is on the corner of Selborne Road/Hoe Street) When you arrive at the pub, turn right immediately and there is a raised floor section inside the pub on the right to meet the group. The pub is very near the Walthamstow Central underground station (Victoria Line) and next to the Tesco Express

Near the end of the walk we will be stopping at a lovely pub to socialise. For those not visiting the pub near the end of the walk, you will be making your own way back to the underground station, which is extremely easy to find and i will show you where.
