For our upcoming film meeting, we will discuss "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Ford.

It is regarded as part of the early wave of Hollywood Golden Age cinema and based on a novel, under the same name by John Steinbeck which won him the Pulitzer Prize and the National Book Award for 1939 and was singled out by the selection committee when he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962.
