The focus of this class is to balance the nervous system, and to access and release tension patterns in the body. Each class will include breath work, Hatha yoga poses focusing on a specific energy center in the body, and a somatic release to ease overall tension. This class is open to all levels.

Meet the Teacher:

Valery Soltis is a dedicated, eclectic, and compassionate Yogi with 19 years of teaching experience. She first trained in South Korea at Ayurveda Yoga Academy in the Hatha Yoga tradition. Additionally, she holds a SomaYoga certification from the SomaYoga Institute in Minnesota. This style of yoga focuses on supporting those who suffer from chronic pain. She received a 300hr advanced Therapeutic certification at Asheville Yoga center in North Carolina in the Vini Yoga tradition. And Valery is currently working on her certification in Neurogenic Yoga and TRE (Tension/trauma releasing exercises.) This restorative style of yoga focuses on movements that support and balance the nervous system.
