Algonkian Regional Park and Wildlife Preserve

Details
Hi all,
Im a new hike organizer, great to meet you. This week I'm doing an easy one as last week I was at Shenandoah NP all weekend and it's still going to be warm this weekend.
This hike is easy, mostly shaded, and is an out and back trail. It takes you along a main path in the park, then it goes along a community access path which then leads to the nature preserve path. In there, you could see deer, several species of birds, turtles and more. Bring water, snacks, camera/binoculars, and tick repellent if you have any as the nature preserve brush has occasional thick spots.
Parking: park in the gravel lot with two or three dumpsters. You should see a simple wooden fence and a staffer sitting at the boat/water access lot next to it.
If this isn't of interest, no worries, I'll be posting something for next weekend as well. If you have other hike ideas, let me know and I can create an event and list you as host as we get more going here.
