Are you an adult nerd who loves comics, movies, sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming, or all things geeky — but doesn't have many people in your everyday life who share those interests?
Then this could be the group for you.
As we get older, making new friends can become surprisingly difficult. Work, relationships, family and everyday life can make it harder to meet new people, and sometimes our partners, friends or family simply don't share the same passions that we do.
That's where Loughborough Nerds & Proud comes in.
This is a social group for kind, friendly, decent adults who want to meet like-minded people, make new friends and have people to enjoy their favourite nerdy things with.
Maybe you're the only person in your friendship group who gets excited about a new Marvel movie. Maybe your partner doesn't understand why you love horror films. Maybe you've always wanted someone to discuss your favourite sci-fi series with. Or maybe you just want to get out, meet some new people and have a laugh.
Whatever your reason, you're welcome here.
We’re all about creating a relaxed, friendly environment where adults can come along, be themselves, and hopefully build genuine friendships.
